Sunita Toraty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Currently serving as the Head of Risk and Compliance at Rest since June 2024, Sunita previously held the position of Head of Enterprise Risk & Financial Crime at Hostplus from September 2020 to June 2024. Prior to this, Sunita was with UniSuper, where roles included Senior Manager of Operational Risk & Complaints Management and Operational Risk & Data Analytics, focusing on embedding risk management frameworks and managing operational risks. Sunita's career also includes significant positions at ME Bank, GE Capital, and earlier roles in risk analysis and management. Academically, Sunita holds a Master of Marketing and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Melbourne Business School, as well as a B.Sc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne.
