Mr. Schwartz has served on our Board since December 2014. Mr. Schwartz, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Company from December 2014 until January 22, 2019, was appointed Executive Chairman of the Company effective January 23, 2019 until June 28, 2019. From June 2013 until December 2014, Mr. Schwartz served as CEO, from April 2013 until June 2013, he served as Chief Operating Officer and from January 2011 until April 2013, he served as Chief Financial Officer of BKW and its predecessor. Mr. Schwartz joined Burger King Holdings, Inc. in October 2010 as Executive Vice President, Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Since January 2008, Mr. Schwartz has been a partner with 3G Capital, where he was responsible for managing 3G Capital’s private equity business until October 2010. From 2012 until February 2015, Mr. Schwartz served as a director of Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc., RBI’s largest Burger King franchisee in the United States. Mr. Schwartz is a director of 3G Capital.
