Alex is a Zimbabwean-born entrepreneur with interests in Energy, Telecommunications, Mining, Agriculture, and the Petroleum sectors. Alex holds a postgraduate (MBA) in international business and is an Electrical /mechanical engineer by profession. Over the last 25 years, Alex has been predominantly involved in the acquisition and delivery of large-scale technology-focused Infrastructure projects for National Oil Companies.

The name Restrata combines “Re” for Resilience with the Latin word strata meaning ‘layers’.
