Peiyu Wang

Peiyu Wang is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in risk management and predictive modeling. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Resurs Bank since May 2025, Peiyu previously held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Sprinque from February 2023 to May 2025, focusing on credit and fraud risk for transactions in a B2B BNPL startup. Prior to that, Peiyu worked at Klarna from September 2017 to February 2023, where roles included Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist, contributing to the development of AWS pipelines for model lifecycle management and credit modeling for various countries. Early career experience involved a Master Thesis Student role at Lannebo Fonder, which studied liquidity-adjusted Value-at-Risk. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Uppsala University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Sichuan University.
