Muhammad Hammad Shaikh is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Group Senior Manager Financial Reporting at Retal since May 2023, where leadership of a team in producing timely statutory financial reports and providing financial insights for strategic decision-making is key. Previously, Shaikh has held various significant roles including Assistant Controller at Aramco Lubricants & Retail Company, and Budgeting and Reporting Manager at Al Fozan Holding. Extensive experience in audit and assurance was gained through positions at Grant Thornton, where responsibilities included managing client portfolios, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading financial statement processes. Academically, Shaikh holds a Chartered Accountancy degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, along with qualifications from ACCA, ICAEW, and a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Economics from Karachi University.
