Ilkka Kemppainen

Ilkka Kemppainen is an experienced IT executive currently serving as Tietohallintojohtaja (CIO) at Retta since February 2020, where responsibilities include developing IT strategy and technology, managing IT and project agreements, ensuring information security, and organizing support and maintenance services. Prior to Retta, Ilkka held various roles at Otava Oy/Otava Group from February 2005 to January 2020, including ICT Manager and IT Service Manager, overseeing IT infrastructure services and managing service agreements and budgeting. Earlier experience includes positions at Ilmailulaitos, focusing on systems for passenger terminals and ground control, and KESKO/K-linkki Oy, working with cash and ERP systems for retail. Ilkka holds a degree in IT from Kajaani polytechnics and a leadership diploma in project management from Markkinointi-instituutti.
