Dave Hage is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer experience and user experience design. Currently serving as the Customer Experience Lead at ReturnToWorkSA since March 2023, Dave has held various key positions including Principal at Escient and UX Designer at the Australian Government Department of Human Services. With a strong background in user experience, Dave has worked as Experience Design Director at Symplicit, UX Lead at the City of Adelaide, and in multiple UX Lead roles at the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure and the Department of State Development - South Australia. Earlier career roles include Lead UX Designer at Fusion and Senior Consultant at Deloitte Digital, starting as an Analyst/Programmer at Intec Group. Dave holds a Bachelor of Information Technology, Computing and Multimedia from the University of South Australia, completed between 1998 and 2001.

At ReturnToWorkSA, our purpose is to empower and support South Australians impacted by work injury. Our services and those delivered by our claims agents are designed to provide early intervention support to workers and employers following a work injury to ensure the worker can recover and return to work as quickly as possible. ReturnToWorkSA has replaced WorkCoverSA and we are responsible for implementing and managing the Return to Work scheme. We are a statutory authority set up under the Return to Work Corporation of South Australia Act 1994 to administer the Return to Work Act 2014.
