Joel Pointer has accumulated extensive experience in the field of IT support and engineering, currently serving as an Application Support Analyst and previously as a Service Desk Analyst at ReturnToWorkSA since February 2021. Prior to this role, Joel worked as a Computer Engineer at NEC Corporation from January 2019 to December 2020, and held the position of Technical Manager at Daelibs in mid-2017. Earlier in the career, Joel was employed as a Technical Support Analyst at Internode from March 2016 to July 2017. At ReturnToWorkSA, our purpose is to empower and support South Australians impacted by work injury. Our services and those delivered by our claims agents are designed to provide early intervention support to workers and employers following a work injury to ensure the worker can recover and return to work as quickly as possible. ReturnToWorkSA has replaced WorkCoverSA and we are responsible for implementing and managing the Return to Work scheme. We are a statutory authority set up under the Return to Work Corporation of South Australia Act 1994 to administer the Return to Work Act 2014.
