Joe C. is an accomplished journalist and policy expert with experience in breaking news and economic reporting in Greater China, currently serving as a Breaking News Correspondent for Reuters since December 2022. Previously, Joe held the position of Head of Policy for the China-Britain Business Council, where responsibilities included overseeing research and public affairs while engaging with various governmental stakeholders. Joe's prior role as a Policy Adviser at the Confederation of British Industry involved leading trade policy initiatives across multiple Asian markets and participating in significant free trade agreement negotiations. An alumnus of the University of Oxford with an M.Phil. in Modern Chinese Studies and a B.A. in History from the University of London, Joe also studied Mandarin Chinese at Peking University.
