From November 2010 to April 2013, they served as the Senior Vice President & Business Unit Head for Provider Solutions at Apollo Health Street. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Vice President & Business Unit Head for the Physician Unit from April 2008 to October 2010, and as the Vice President & Global Head of Sales from October 2000 to September 2008.
Hariharan's career began at an internet startup in 2000, where they worked as a Marketing Manager from April 2000 to September 2000. Prior to that, they gained experience at Marico, starting as an Area Sales Manager from June 1995 to March 1998, and later as a Brand Manager from April 1998 to March 2000.
Hariharan Velayudhan completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree from Osmania University between 1987 and 1990. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, which they completed between 1993 and 1995.
