Ivan Vazhnov is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in mobile and backend development. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at Revolut since December 2016, Ivan has held various engineering roles, including Partner and Lead Android Engineer. Prior to this, Ivan was the Team Lead for the Mobile department at Comindware Inc., where responsibilities included the development of both Android and iOS applications. With a strong foundation in back-end development from a previous position at iMarkt, Ivan has a diverse skill set in technologies such as Java, .NET, and MSSQL database management. Ivan holds a Master's degree in Computer Systems and Networking from Moscow State University of Transport (MIIT), earned between 2000 and 2005.
