Juan Rojas has extensive experience in the field of ultrasound imaging. Starting in 2015, they worked with SonoVolt as an Independent Consultant and then as a Summer Intern, where they developed algorithms for image analysis and assisted in designing an ultrasound imaging system. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Senior Scientist at SonoVolt, conducting studies, developing software, and training customers on preclinical imaging devices. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2018, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in custom ultrasound scripting, small animal imaging techniques, and image analysis. In 2022, they joined PerkinElmer, Inc. as a Principal Ultrasound Scientist, and later moved to Revvity in 2023 for the same role.
Juan Rojas received their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012. Juan then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the same university, completing their degree in 2018.
