Shui Choi has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Beginning in 1992, they worked as a Software Engineer at Engras, a startup company that focused on designing VGA compatible graphics accelerator chips. Shui then moved on to OPTi, where they held the position of Senior Software Engineer from 1994 to 1996. After that, they joined Media Reality Technologies (MRT) as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the design of video/graphics accelerator controller chips and LCD monitor controller chips. In 1999, Shui Choi joined MaxSpeed as a Software Development Engineer, followed by a role as a Senior Software Engineer at AirZip in 2000. At AirZip, they engineered software for a startup company specializing in graphics/image compression engines. From 2002 to 2003, Shui Choi worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Datacube, where they developed high-performance image acquisition and processing boards. Shui then joined IQuum Inc. in 2003, initially as a Senior Software Engineer, before the company was acquired by Roche. At Roche Molecular Systems, Shui Choi became a Principal Software Engineer, focusing on the development of medical diagnostic products. Shui'simpressive career continued at PerkinElmer, Inc., where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, and most recently, they took on the role of Principal Software Development Engineer at Revvity in 2023.

Shui Choi has a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
