Sean McDaid began their work experience in 2010 as an Executive at Ernst & Young, where they gained expertise in UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS. Sean worked with notable clients such as Coca-Cola, Bombardier, and CRH, and also gained experience in areas beyond normal audit, such as SOX compliance, bank covenant compliance, and government grants. In 2013, they joined Bank of America as a Middle Office Treasury Analyst, before moving on to BDO NI in 2014 as a Manager. From 2015 to 2018, McDaid worked at Regus, holding positions as UK Financial Accountant, Commercial Finance Manager, and Financial Reporting Manager. In 2018, they became a Chartered Accountant at First Derivatives. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Reward as a Financial Controller.
Sean McDaid started their education at Queen's University Belfast in 2006 and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Accounting in 2009. Sean then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from the University of Ulster, which they completed in 2010.
