John Lofgren

John Lofgren is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as Engineering Team Lead and previously as Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Developer at Rewards Network since July 2018, John has a strong focus on security and infrastructure automation. At Apex Systems from December 2016 to July 2018, John's contributions included developing a GRPC-based streaming API and integrating microservices applications with corporate authentication systems. Prior experience at Motorola Solutions involved managing public key infrastructure for code signing services and developing embedded software applications. John holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University, supplemented by early experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer and as an Engineering Coop Student at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory.
