Mellissa Lim

Mellissa Lim currently serves as Vice President and Head of US Pension Risk Transfer within the Institutional Markets at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, a position held since January 2022. Previously, Mellissa was a Corporate Vice President for Institutional Annuities at New York Life Insurance Company from October 2018 to January 2022, where significant contributions were made to expand the Pension Risk Transfer market, increasing annual sales from $30 million in 2018 to over $800 million by 2021. Earlier experience includes a role as Pension Consultant at Buck from March 2008 to September 2018, overseeing national Pension Risk Transfer project management for corporate defined benefit and contribution plan sponsors. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization in Actuarial Science and a business minor from the University of Alberta.
