Burak Adanur is a Design Engineer II at Rheem Manufacturing, specializing in R&D product development for integrated heat pump water heaters since February 2020. Previously, Burak held roles as a Design Engineer and Test Engineer, focusing on R&D product development and certification testing for gas tankless water heaters. Burak gained research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University, investigating frosting on coated surfaces in forced convection channel flow and designing laboratory systems for these experiments. In addition, Burak served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, instructing sophomore students in statics and dynamics. An early career internship took place at Turkish Technic, where Burak supported engineers in aircraft maintenance. Burak earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Auburn University.
