Emily Simpson, GIT, is currently a Research and Development Engineer at RHI Magnesita since June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Quarry Supervisor at Graymont and holding various roles at RHI Magnesita, including Geologist from May 2021 to January 2023 and Quarry Intern. Emily also gained insights into the geosciences as a Geoscience Intern at Pioneer Natural Resources Company, focusing on the Southeast margin of the Midland Basin. Further foundational experience was acquired as a Field Intern at the University of Oklahoma, where characterization of the Salagou formation was conducted. Emily holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from Ohio University.
