Brian Kenney

Brian Kenney currently serves as the Assistant Chief Information Officer at Rhode Island College, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this role, Brian worked at TruStage as a PMO Senior Manager, Senior Business Consultant, and Transformation Leader from May 2022 to July 2025. Brian's extensive experience includes various positions at Amica Insurance, such as Senior IT Talent Manager, Compliance and Service Management Manager, Project Portfolio Manager, IT Process Manager, and Senior Business Systems Analyst from January 2013 to May 2022. Earlier in the career, Brian held roles at Citizens Bank, including Application Team Leader, AVP, and Project Team Leader II, Officer, among others, from June 2009 to January 2013. Brian began the professional journey at Fidelity Information Services as an Application Programmer III from February 2004 to June 2009 and started in the industry at Catalina Marketing as a Field Service Technician from March 2001 to February 2004. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Kaplan University between 2011 and 2012 and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from another college.
