Kasandra Amelia Silcott is currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Leicester since September 2023, focusing on tutorials and assessments for the Tort law module while also handling administrative tasks for the Law School. Simultaneously, Kasandra has been the Data Protection Officer at RHP Group since May 2021, leading compliance with privacy laws, including the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR. Prior to this role, Kasandra held the position of Data Protection Officer at emh group from January 2018 to May 2021, where responsibilities included legislative compliance and policy development related to data protection. Earlier experience encompasses various administration roles within charitable and third sector organizations from 2006 to 2017, emphasizing customer service and familiarity with data protection laws. Kasandra is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Law at the University of Leicester, having previously completed a Master of Laws in Human Rights and holding a GDPR Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection.
