Iris R. serves as the Team Lead for Inside Sales at Curriculum Associates since February 2023, previously holding the title of Account Development Specialist. With extensive experience in education, Iris was an award-winning Elementary Teacher at Chatham County Public Schools from August 2018 to February 2023, known for a data-driven and equitable approach to teaching. Prior to this role, Iris taught American History at Wake County Public School System and was recognized for cross-functional leadership and project management in developing district-level curriculum. Iris began the teaching career as an Ancient Civilizations Humanities Teacher at Durham Public Schools, implementing effective communication strategies and managing a successful recycling initiative. Iris earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Virginia Commonwealth University and continued education at North Carolina State University.
