Jamie Gibson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Starting in 1997, Jamie worked at Northern Telecom, Inc. as a Sales Manager for Emerging Products and later as a Senior Network Architect. Jamie then joined Nortel in 2003, where they held various roles including Director of Carrier Sales and Engineering, Director of Carrier Solutions, and Director of Large Enterprise Market Development. In these roles, Jamie was responsible for business development, network architecture, and sales, and managed multinational teams. Jamie then joined GENBAND in 2010 as Vice President of Sales Engineering, leading market development efforts and managing a multinational team. Jamie's most recent role was at Ribbon Communications as Vice President of Sales Engineering, where they led technical sales engagements for strategic projects and managed accounts in MSO, Service Provider, and Federal Government sectors.
Jamie Gibson attended Virginia Tech from 1988 to 1993, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, from 1994 to 1997, Jamie enrolled in the North Carolina State University - College of Management, where they pursued a Master's degree in Management (MBA).
