Mike Alderton

Mike Alderton is an experienced real estate professional with a strong background in land acquisition and sales. Currently serving as the Director of Land Acquisition at Richmond American Homes since 2022, Mike has also held the position of Land Acquisition Manager. As the President of AIC, Real Estate Consulting Services since 2016, Mike leads various real estate initiatives. Previously, Mike held the role of Vice President of Sales at Genesis Capital LLC from 2019 to February 2022, Director at Metropolis Capital Advisors from 2017 to 2019, and Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer & Portfolio Manager at EagleBank from 2013 to 2016. Early career experience includes serving as a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Lending Division at Virginia Heritage Bank and as a Personal Financial Assistant at Wells Fargo. Mike holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business.
