Joan K. Tom is currently working as an Account Development Specialist for Breakthru Beverage Group in the Fine Wine division. Prior to this role, Joan held positions at Ridge Vineyards, YesVideo, Nextag, AKQA/SearchRev, and Cintara Brand Marketing in various account management and sales roles. Joan's experience includes managing strategic enterprise accounts, developing comprehensive brand and tactical plans, and driving long-term business growth. Joan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Near Eastern Studies with a minor in French Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
Ridge Vineyards
For the past 50 years, Ridge has championed a pre-industrial approach to single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare vineyards where climate, soil, and varietal are ideally matched. Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon account for most of the production; syrah, grenache, and carignane constitute the balance. Known primarily for its red wines, Ridge has also made limited amounts of chardonnay since 1962.
