Michael McClelland has extensive experience in maintenance and production systems management within the manufacturing and food industries. Currently serving as Production Systems Manager at Ridge Vineyards Inc., Michael has previously held positions as Maintenance Manager at Castle Metals from 1994 to 1999, Maintenance Machinist at Lipton Tea Company from 1985 to 1994, and Maintenance Supervisor at Almaden Vineyards during a concurrent tenure from 1980 to 1994. This diverse background showcases a strong expertise in maintenance operations and systems management.
Ridge Vineyards
For the past 50 years, Ridge has championed a pre-industrial approach to single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare vineyards where climate, soil, and varietal are ideally matched. Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon account for most of the production; syrah, grenache, and carignane constitute the balance. Known primarily for its red wines, Ridge has also made limited amounts of chardonnay since 1962.
