Ridge Vineyards
Trester Goetting is an accomplished winemaker with extensive experience in the wine industry. Currently serving as the Winemaker at Ridge Vineyards since January 2022, Trester has previously held similar roles at Robert Biale Vineyards from August 2013 to March 2022, Krupp Brothers from August 2010 to August 2013, and Ladera Vineyards from August 2004 to August 2010. Trester began a career in winemaking as an Assistant Winemaker at St. Clement Winery from 1997 to 2004. Trester obtained a degree from Humboldt State University, completing studies between 1992 and 1997.

Ridge Vineyards
For the past 50 years, Ridge has championed a pre-industrial approach to single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare vineyards where climate, soil, and varietal are ideally matched. Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon account for most of the production; syrah, grenache, and carignane constitute the balance. Known primarily for its red wines, Ridge has also made limited amounts of chardonnay since 1962.
