Derek Plowman

Derek Plowman is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Ridgeline since August 2024. Prior to this, Derek held the same title at Bombora from June 2021 to August 2024 and at IGT from June 2005 to June 2021, where significant contributions included becoming a subject matter expert in audio and leading development on IGT’s flagship casino gaming platform. Earlier roles encompassed software engineering positions, including development of tools for gaming engines and cross-platform projects. Derek's background includes independent contracting for multiple businesses and a technical foundation established through an AS and BS in Computer Engineering Technology and Software Engineering Technology from the Oregon Institute of Technology.
