Jean-Philippe Lapointe

Jean-Philippe Lapointe serves as the Head of Software Video Processing at RIEDEL Communications, leading software development teams in creating professional video processing software since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Engineer, where Jean-Philippe planned and architected innovative software platforms for media. At Grass Valley from January 2017 to December 2022, responsibilities included managing a team focused on media processing for the GV AMPP platform and developing core features. Prior to that, Jean-Philippe worked as a Software Designer at Matrox, developing functionalities for the video division's SDK. Jean-Philippe's earlier experience includes directing the setup for FestiBlues International de Montréal and managing the ski school at Ski Montcalm. Academic qualifications include an MBA and a DESS in management from HEC Montréal, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal.
