James C Nortey has a diverse work experience. James started their career as a Right to Dream Graduate in 2003 and worked there until 2007. In 2016, they joined FC Nordsjaelland, where they held the position of Character Development & Integration until 2022. In 2019, they founded Besesaka, and their most recent role is Head of Academy Care and Culture at Right to Dream, starting in 2022.

Prior to that, they completed their high school education at The Hotchkiss School from 2007 to 2011. Before attending The Hotchkiss School, James attended Bukom: School of Hard Knocks from 1991 to 2007, where they acquired a degree in Character.
