Alexandre Matiron is a seasoned embedded software developer with extensive experience in vehicle controls software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Software Developer at Rimac Technology since January 2023, Alexandre previously held significant roles at McLaren Automotive Ltd from December 2013 to October 2023, advancing from Vehicle Controls Software Engineer to Principal Vehicle Controls Software Engineer, where responsibilities included team mentoring, software architecture design in compliance with AUTOSAR specifications, and agile development facilitation. Prior roles include Embedded Software Engineer at Safran Engineering Services, where Alexandre was involved in requirement analysis and simulation testing, and a brief position at Cranfield University focusing on algorithm development for autonomous vehicles. Educational achievements consist of a Master's degree in Autonomous Vehicle Dynamics and Control from Cranfield University and a degree in Mechatronics from Université de Technologie de Compiègne.

Having delivered technology for many small volume projects in the past years, Rimac Technology is ramping up its production capacity and will be manufacturing 40,000 batteries per year in 2024 – and this is just one of 12 OEM projects currently ongoing, ranging from small hybrid battery systems to full rolling chassis. Rimac Technology today is a 1.000-people company based on the outskirts of Zagreb, Croatia.
