Michael Balog, PhD has extensive experience in the technology industry. Michael currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer, Ring Solutions at Ring since March 2017. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Zonoff from May 2011 to March 2017, and Chief Technical Officer at BuLogics from February 2003 to May 2011. Michael also worked as a Technology Consultant at Independence Media/ MiND TV from 2007 to 2008. Before that, they were a Research Engineer at Rydal Research & Development from July 2002 to June 2007. Michael began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Drexel University from June 1999 to June 2002 and worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Intel Corp. from September 1997 to March 1998.

Michael continued their education at Drexel University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2002. Michael further pursued their studies and completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in 2007.
