Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Ring since October 2021, Tom has previously held the position of Software Development Manager at Amazon from February 2015 to November 2021. Prior roles include Senior Software Developer at BevyUp, Software Developer at Zulily, and various engineering roles at Microsoft, where Tom advanced from Software Development Intern to Software Development Engineer 2 from 2007 to 2012. Tom began a career in technology as a Manageability Firmware Test Intern at Hewlett-Packard in 2006. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
