Manish Thakkar

Manish Thakkar is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in cloud solutions and telecommunications. Currently serving as Director of Cloud Solutions at RingCentral since 2017, Manish oversees the development and management of video meetings, media gateways, and IMS integration. Previously, Manish held various positions at RingCentral, including Senior Manager of Cloud Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed system architecture in the UCaaS space and leadership of a technical team across multiple locations. Prior experience at Ericsson spanned nearly a decade in roles such as Solutions Architect, managing technical solutions for pre-sales and post-sales in advanced telecommunications technologies including 4G VoLTE and WebRTC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from Southern Methodist University, a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and a diploma from the Bombay Institute of Technology.
