Jamie Deruyter

Jamie DeRuyter is an accomplished professional in the field of entertainment design and 3D animation. Currently serving as a TEA Eastern Division Board Member with the Themed Entertainment Association since January 2025, Jamie also holds the position of Department Head and faculty member at Ringling College of Art and Design since September 2002. As a 3D Generalist Contractor since 2001, Jamie has contributed to notable projects such as exhibit designs for the Frost Museum of Science and the International Spy Museum, as well as visual effects for renowned games like Demon's Souls and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Previous roles include Effects Artist at Kleiser Walczack for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and 3D Lighting Supervisor at Victory FX Animation Studios for Sheena. Jamie holds a BFA in Computer Animation from Ringling College of Art and Design and has educational background from the Community College of Allegheny County and the University of Pittsburgh.
