Edwin Kling started their work experience in 2007 with Hanson, where they held the role of Vice President of Operations in Ontario and Quebec until 2010. In 2011, they became Vice President of Engineering at Hanson and continued in this role until they joined Lehigh Hanson in the same year, where they took on the position of Vice President of Engineering in Canada.

Edwin Kling earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 1971 and 1976. Edwin further pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Marketing at Wilfrid Laurier University from 1981 to 1986.
