Artun Sukan

Artun Sukan is an experienced professional in the fields of venture management and strategic partnerships, currently serving as Ventures Manager at Rio Tinto and as an Investor at Ai Build and Puraffinity Ltd, a deep tech spin-out from Imperial College London. Sukan has previously held roles such as VP of Partnerships & Strategy at Uncommon, a cultivated meat startup, and Head of Strategic Partnerships at Arkivum. Additional leadership experience includes several Non-Executive Director roles at companies such as Quantum Dice, SAM Labs, and Lixea Limited, which focuses on innovative biomass fractionation processes. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Westminster, along with multiple degrees in chemical engineering and bioengineering from Ege University.
