What You’ll Do:

  • Drive earned media strategy. From press and product reviews to analyst relations and industry awards, you’re responsible for developing and executing a plan to grow Rippling’s brand awareness with key audiences. You’ll pitch media, prep executives, monitor and analyze news trends, manage agency partners, and grow a team from the ground up over time.
  • Tell our innovation narrative. We’re a lot more than an HR company - you’ll drive and maintain a steady drumbeat of stories, content, and other marketing efforts to capture our best stories and share them with the world.
  • Create relevant content & campaigns. Develop and execute timely campaigns on our owned and social media channels. Secure thought leadership opportunities for executives and work with them to develop the content. Build out Rippling’s blog content to include company announcements, product launches, employee spotlights, etc

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Communications, journalism, or analyst relations

  • Proven track record generating coverage, and existing relationships with tech and business press

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, a knack for storytelling, high standards and painstaking attention to detail

  • Self-directed and comfortable juggling a diverse portfolio of projects and responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, initiate projects and drive them to completion

  • Collaborative spirit -- you’ll be working with team members across the company, contractors, and agencies

  • Passion for building a function from the ground up
