Jamie Crain has over fifteen years of experience in communications, marketing, and media relations. Jamie is currently the Communications and Social Media Manager at Rise Gardens. Prior to that, they served as a marketing and communications consultant for JCL Media, a communications specialist for Rise Gardens, and the Vice President of Resolute Consulting LLC. Jamie also worked as a Senior Associate at SKDKnickerbocker f/k/a Squier Knapp Dunn, Press Secretary for Obama for America, Vice President of Illinois Democratic Women, and Campaign Manager for Debbie Halvorson for Congress. Jamie began their career as a Senior Account Executive at Jasculca Terman Strategic Communications and later served as Deputy Campaign Manager for Dan Seals for Congress. Jamie has also held positions as Regional Coordinator for the Illinois Speaker of the House and Campaign Manager for the Democratic Party of Illinois.
Jamie Crain attended Cornell University, where they studied entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies through the Bank of America Institute for Women's Entrepreneurship. Jamie then attended the University of Illinois Springfield, where they earned their master's degree in political science. Finally, they attended Northern Illinois University, where they earned their bachelor's degree in political science.
