Tom Phelps

Tom Phelps has a solid background in engineering and product management. Tom currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at RISE™ Robotics since June 2022. Prior to that, they were with Accion Systems from 2019 to 2022, where they held the positions of Vice President of Engineering and Product, and Vice President of Product. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Endeavor Robotics as the Senior Director of New Products. Tom also has extensive experience at iRobot, where they had various roles, including Director Robotics Products, North America, Director - UGV Product Management, PackBot Program Manager, and Deputy Program Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked at Enterasys Networks as an NPI Program Manager, Appian Communications as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, IronBridge Networks, Inc as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, and Teradyne as a Manufacturing Engineer.

Tom Phelps completed their Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University during the years 1990 to 1994. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University between 1997 and 1999.
