Josie Ramos is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in leadership and program management, currently serving as the Director of Learning and Programs at the Public Health Institute since May 2001. With a strong background in youth leadership development, organizational management, curriculum development, and cross-cultural communication, Josie has effectively led high-impact initiatives both locally and globally. Additionally, Josie has held roles such as Senior Program Manager at Rise Up and Program Coordinator at Defensa de Mujeres. Josie holds a Master of Arts in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and multiple degrees in English and Spanish from Stanford University.
