Shandell Maxwell

Shandell Maxwell, PhD, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Learning for Equity at Rising Communities, alongside roles as a consultant and practice manager at Tustin Legacy Animal Hospital. As Chief Executive Officer of Byrd & Maxwell Coaching Institute, Shandell focuses on empowering individuals and organizations through coaching. Previously, responsibilities included content creation for a veterinary diversity program and regional operations management at Pathway, where Shandell facilitated training and oversaw financial performance for numerous healthcare practices. Academic roles have encompassed coaching students at Brandman University and teaching organizational behavior and management courses at various institutions. Shandell holds a PhD in Community Organization and Advocacy from Antioch University and multiple degrees in leadership and management from prominent universities.
