Janel Silva, LMSW (SIFI), is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in social work and clinical supervision. Currently serving as Lead Clinician/Supervisor at JCCA since January 2019, Janel oversees clinicians in the Unaccompanied Minor Program, provides consultation on complex clinical cases, and leads a multidisciplinary team addressing mental health issues. Janel has a strong background in home-based therapy for children and adolescents, utilizing various therapeutic modalities, and has previously worked as a Social Worker, Intake Coordinator, and case planner in child welfare settings. Janel's educational foundation includes a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University at Albany, SUNY.
