Michael Schneider, PhD, is an experienced data scientist currently employed at RISK IDENT since August 2021. Additionally, since November 2016, Michael has been serving as a guest researcher at Deutsche Bundesbank, focusing on the influence of market (micro-)structure and regulation on financial markets, with a particular interest in fixed-income markets. Michael's prior role as a research assistant involved delivering specialized analysis on financial stability, macro-finance, and asset pricing. As a junior researcher at the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE from October 2018 to July 2021, Michael led data analytics for academic research projects, leveraging extensive financial datasets. Earlier, Michael gained experience as a research intern at Capital Fund Management by optimizing a portfolio allocation approach. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Financial Mathematics from Scuola Normale Superiore and multiple degrees in Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and other prestigious institutions.
