Safwat Zaman is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in penetration testing, security engineering, and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer and Red Teamer at Risk Mitigation Consulting since May 2021, Safwat manages high-performance teams and translates technical findings into corporate security standards. Prior roles include Senior Penetration Tester at Schellman & Company, LLC, where over 40 security engagements were delivered for Fortune 500 companies, and positions at TALATEK LLC, AXXUM TECHNOLOGIES LLC, Coalfire, Accenture, HP Enterprise Services, and ePals, demonstrating a diverse skill set in vulnerability assessments, security audits, and compliance frameworks. Safwat holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from George Mason University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
