Carmen Hermes currently serves as the Global Head of Legal IT - Digital & Privacy and Data Protection and Legal Compliance Officer at Rituals since October 2020. Prior to this role, Carmen gained valuable experience as an Advocaat at AKD advocaten & notarissen from September 2014 to October 2020. Carmen's early legal career includes positions as a student-stagiaire at Lexence N.V. and Brantjes Veerman Advocaten, as well as a juridisch medewerker at Poelmann van den Broek advocaten. Carmen also held the role of voorzitter at Integrand Nijmegen and worked as an administratief medewerkster at Ten Berge Notarissen. Academically, Carmen holds a Master's degree in Dutch Law (Meester in de rechten) and a Bachelor's degree in Dutch Law from Radboud University, with studies completed between 2007 and 2013.
