Jerry Liu

Jerry Liu is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in design, animation, and direction. As the Creative Director at Rive since October 2023 and the Owner/Creative Director of Jerry Liu Studio since 2011, Jerry Liu has developed expertise in 2D motion graphics, design, and illustration across various media formats including television, film, and digital content. Previous roles include Art Director/Motion Designer at Meta, where responsibilities involved animation and design for messaging platforms, and Art Director at Discovery Communications. Jerry Liu's career began with a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts, leading to various freelance projects and a position as Senior Broadcast Designer/Animator at Comedy Central.
