Mahbub Hussain is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in engineering, application support, and retail management. Currently serving as a Store Platform Engineer at River Island since August 2008, Mahbub has successfully managed the deployment of over 270 laptops and developed efficient systems for call logging and integration with ServiceNow. Previous roles include leading the Retail Application Support Team during the challenging COVID-19 period and effectively managing operations for over 250 stores. Mahbub has a proven track record in data management using SQL databases and has advanced through various retail roles, from Deputy Store Manager to Commercial Manager, where significant contributions to sales and team leadership were demonstrated. Mahbub holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Network Security from the University of Westminster and has experience as an Urban Development Consultant with Strategic Urban Futures.
