Graham Nixey has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as Resources Director at OPM Ltd, where they worked until 2010. graham then became a Partner at Caelestis UK and held this position until 2015. From 2012 to 2013, Graham was the Head of Finance at CfBT. graham also served as Interim Accountant at the University of Oxford from 2010 to 2011. In 2013, they worked as Bursar and Clerk to the Governors at The Lady Eleanor Holles School. Graham's roles also included being the Interim Finance and Operations Director at Blackbird Academy Trust in 2014, the Interim Finance Director at THE VENTURERS TRUST in 2017, and the Interim Bursar at Old Buckenham Hall School in 2018. Graham occupied several roles at River Learning Trust, first as Interim Finance Director from 2015 to present, and later as Interim COO from 2015 to 2016. graham also briefly worked as a Senior Associate at Secantor in 2011.
Graham Nixey attended The University of Sheffield from 1976 to 1979, during which they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics.
River Learning Trust
The River Learning Trust is a successful and growing Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) based in Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. They are responsible for a number of secondary schools, primary schools, and a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) provider; they have a secondary Free School in pre-opening and are in discussions with a number of other secondary and primary schools as the Trust is preparing for further growth in the coming years.
