Eric Cox has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Eric started their career at Allied-Signal Aerospace as a Systems Programmer from June 1985 to June 1989. Eric then moved on to Compaq as a Network Engineer from June 1989 to December 1992. Cox joined Cisco in September 1992 and held various positions including Systems Engineer, Manager of Systems Engineering, Senior Manager of Systems Engineering, and finally Director of Systems Engineering from September 1995 to March 2014. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Technical Sales at Riverbed Technology, a position they have held since March 2014.
Eric Cox attended Graceland University from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," "Skills for Inclusive Conversations," "Unconscious Bias," and "Digital Transformation" from LinkedIn.
