Prior to this, Dana served as a Research Associate at IDS - American Express (Ameriprise/Riversouce) from April 1986 to January 1992, and worked as a contract draftsman at Medtronic from June 1981 to April 1986, focusing on mechanical and electrical drafting. Dana holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, completed between 1983 and 1986, and has prior education at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Osseo Sr High.
